These terms are an agreement between you and Pater Apps LLC, a Texas limited liability company (formation pending). By using this website or the Pater app, you agree to them.
Using Pater
Use Pater lawfully and do not misuse it: no attempts to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, and no use of it to harm others.
Answers to questions
Pater’s answers are generated by software to help you study the Bible and cite the verses they draw on. They can be wrong or incomplete. Scripture is the authority; check answers against the cited passages. Answers are not professional, medical, legal, or counseling advice.
Free tier and paid features
Bible reading is free. Some features have usage limits, and optional paid features may be offered later. Any purchases will go through the app store you use, under its terms.
Content
Bible translations and other content are used under their licenses and remain the property of their owners. The Pater name, logo, and app are ours.
Waitlist
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access or a launch date.
Disclaimers
Pater is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $50 if none.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms or change or discontinue the service. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
